2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

2003 was the first year for this redesigned Mercedes 500SL. It has a power retractable hardtop for convenient topless driving. This is a rare Designo Launch Edition car (a $10,000 dealer option) which includes a unique exterior color (Designo Silver), Black leather interior, suede headliner, 18" launch edition wheels (see the crome wheels in pics), leather dashboard, and special wood interior and Designo labeled items (seats, shifter and floormats). I have owned this vehicle since May, 2009 and have over $12k in service records. I have already repaired the air surpension system which is prone to failure on these cars around 50k miles. I have also added a custom carbon fiber spoiler and have several custom wheel opions for this car (see pics). Everything works as it should. These cars if properly maintained, are an excellent value. Must see and drive to appreciate! Only 65k original miles and being offered at only $13,500 FIRM. Note: Price reduced as I just learned (11/2016) that the passenger fender was replaced and driver fender was painted after Insurance Company sold the car to a dealer prior to me buying the car. I did see a "clean Carfax" report before buying the car and 2 years after owning it I ran another Carfax and it too was clean.
